Our Vision for Cool Spring Baptist Church is to be a biblically functioning community of Christian believers who glorify God by reflecting Jesus Christ as we strive to accomplish His will.
Our Mission is to reach and develop all people into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.
We accomplish this Mission by living connected. Cool Spring is all about living connected to each other, our community, and, most importantly, to Christ.

Luke 4:16-21
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. 17 And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, 18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." 20 And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, "Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.
Jesus’ Role; Our Responsibility
The Father is intentional in His assignments. He doesn't assign anyone He doesn't support. He supports the one He assigns. What is your assignment?
Where is good news needed? Find a space where there is a lacking and be present. Where is that space around you?
People are held captive, even hostage, by situations they never imagined or planned. Yet, pardon, freedom, and forgiveness are available. So, where are the captives around you?
There is hope. Too often, the struggle eclipses hope. Sometimes we need someone in our life to provide perspective when perspective is lost. Where can you offer a fresh perspective?
Reparative work is hard. Picking up the pieces is exhausting. Yet, there is grace and pardon for the broken and shattered. Whom do you know that needs help picking up the pieces?
The goal of the Gospel is to announce the Lord's welcome with open arms. Whom do you know that needs an embrace?
It's time...
