HOPE: The Promise in the Stars

 Genesis 15:5-6 

“And he brought him outside and said, ‘Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’ And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.” 

 Isaiah 9:2 

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” 

 Psalm 147:4 

“He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.” 

 Psalm 8:3-4 

“When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” 

 Isaiah 40:26 

“Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.”
