SMAK (Summer Music Activities for Kids)

Monday - Friday, July 8-12, 2024 from 8:30 - 12 Noon

We are excited to have you register your child for our SMAK 2024 music camp. You will need to enroll your child in a time of specialized learning from one of the classes listed below. Please select two options based upon their interests. In addition to class instructions, your child will also be engaged in the latest musical by the family team of Daniel & Christy Semsen and their son, Nathaniel. Through the presentation of "The Greatest Hymn on Earth," your child will learn the art of excellence in performing musical theatre and the joy of offering up hymns of praise in worship. They will be a part of a performing choir where all in the ensemble are equally important for the success of the whole.

Drama auditions for the musical will be held on Sunday, April 28 and Wednesday, May 1 in the sanctuary. We invite all those interested in a speaking part to come out and join us. Auditions will take place from 4:00 - 5:00 pm on April 28 and from 5:45-6:45 pm on May 1.

Our team of leaders and teachers are working hard now to prepare for the arrival of your child this July. We are hopeful your child will enjoy the many fun-filled activities and learning adventures that are coming their way. It is our desire to make their SMAK experience thrilling from beginning to end.

On Sunday, July 14 @ 6:00 PM in the Worship Center, the children from SMAK 2024 will present the uplifting musical entitled The Greatest Hymn on Earth.
