January 9, 2022 Series: The New New Normal (Routines and Practices), Dr. Brad Hoffmann

Last week, the focus was thinking strategies. This week, we explore three essential practices (inquiring, creating, and replenishing) to thrive in a new new normal. The goal is for the listener to adopt one specific approach over the next seven days to begin proactive and healthy routines in the new new normal.

The New New Normal

Routines and Practices

Psalm32.6-8; Matthew 25:16; Luke 5:16

Three Essential Routines and Practices in the New Normal

INQUIRING

Psalm 32:6-8 (ESV): Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him. 7  You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah 8  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

CREATING

Matthew 25:16-18 (ESV) He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.

REPLENISHING

Luke 5:16 (ESV) But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.

THINK about it...
