Youth Summer Camps for 2017

Hanover County Summer Camp | July 10-14 (M-F) | 7:30AM-5:30PM | Rising 1st-6th grade boys & girls are eligible

Join us for an action-packed camp complete with activities your child will enjoy. We’ll play traditional sports like soccer, dodgeball, tennis and basketball, then some awesome new ones like pickleball, ultimate frisbee and Spike Ball.  Planned activities may include a field trip to Uptown Alley and visits from Game Truck, Stretch-n-Grow and Virginia Pickleball.  Facilitated by Hanover County Parks & Rec.

Rolando Lamb Boys Basketball Camp | July 24-27 (M-TH) | Rising 2nd-10th grade boys | 8 AM to 3 PM | $125 (April 15-June 30) | $140 after June 30 | Cool Spring Rec Center | Coaches Rolando & Ronnie Lamb, Facilitators

A-GAME ELITE TRAINING SYSTEM is a total life development program that inspires athletes to strive for excellence and be at the top of their game in the most important areas of their life.....Attitude, Academics, that order.  This camp is designed to teach basketball fundamental skills as well as endurance exercises. Campers will be challenged through basketball drills, one-on-one games, team games, and endurance running. Campers can expect to play basketball, as well as running drills, for the majority of the camp session. Andre Ingram's Basketball Shooting Camp | Aug 14-16 (M-W) | Rising 3rd-11th Grade Boys & Girls | 7:15 AM-12:15 PM | Cool Spring Rec Center | $75 (April 15-June 30) | $90 (after June 30)

This is a shooting-specific camp! Campers will be taught professional skills for in-game Shooting by NBA D-League Player Andre Ingram. They will learn every form of Jump shot using the proper footwork, balance and mechanics that has made Andre one of the best shooters in NBA D-League history. Campers will also work on the fundamental skills of play including ball handling, passing, rebounding and defending.
