Thursday, May 30 | 9:30 AM – 2:45 PM | The Poe Museum, Bottoms Up Pizza & Riverfront Canal Cruise
Join us visiting The Poe Museum, billed as one of the world’s finest collections of Edgar Allan Poe memorabilia, the museum holds a variety of artifacts from the writer’s life in Richmond. After our guided tour of the museum, we will head over to Bottoms Up Pizza for an all you can eat pizza lunch.
To walk off our lunch, we will stroll 3 blocks on the Canal Walk to catch our private, chartered canal cruise boat. We will hear about the history of Richmond from Powhatan’s Chiefdom to the first commercially successful electric streetcar in the world. We will also see the unique Triple Crossing Railroad, tobacco warehouses and the Virginia Capital Trail, just to name a few sights.
