Summer Experience
This event is going to be so much fun! Have you have signed up? As of right now, we have more than 60 families planning to try something new this summer. Pathway Kids is launching a brand-new Summer Experience and it’s going to be something special!
The entire week will center around this verse: “Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And He is the one who completes the journey of faith.” Hebrews 12:2a
The preparation and planning have consumed our team over the last few months. I think it is important to celebrate all that God has already done and to recognize the wonderful team working behind the scenes to make this happen.
Our VBS team typically meets earlier in the year to begin prayerful planning, recruitment and organizing. There are thousands of pieces that MUST fall into place before we can safely and efficiently reach hundreds of kids for Christ. This is a labor of love. Emphasis on love.
This year we were well into our typical planning schedule when a certain life altering worldwide event poked its pesky nose into our business. So rude.
This team that works so well waited, prayed, assessed and pivoted into this new possibility with amazing grace, patience and excitement. Speaking from everyone on the team, this is truly a labor of LOVE.
The thing that I have loved the most about this creation process is working with a group of people who absolutely “keep looking to Jesus” through each of these major decisions. As a ministry leader and all things KidsMin enthusiast, it has filled me to the brim with joy and hope to see God’s plan unfolding through the work of this team.
If you can’t tell… I’m excited. This is going to be so much fun!

As summer approaches, our attention turns to summer activities. While these activities may look differently this year, the opportunities to have fun and enjoy family can be an endless adventure. Pathway Kids will be assisting with family fun options for the summer with Summer Experience #vbsreimagined!
What is Summer Experience #vbsreimagined?
It’s an opportunity for families with preschool and elementary aged children to enjoy time together. Summer Experience will be held from July 13-17. Are you on vacation or not available that week? No problem. All resources available can be enjoyed later in the summer. This is a flexible experience! Our theme is Focus! Take a Closer Look - a closer look at God to discover more about Him and His amazing plan for our lives.
What is the format?
Join us online each day for worship, Bible stories and games. Focus Kits containing activities, crafts and giveaways will be available for pick up and will provide everything you need for your family to enjoy at home or even in the backyard with friends and neighbors. We will wrap up every evening with a brief Facebook Live.
How do you get a Focus Kit?
Go online to www.coolspring.org/summerexperience to register your family, so we can prepare a personalized kit just for you! If you are planning to use the kit later in the summer, you need to register for a kit now. There is no cost to participate in Summer Experience. #vbsreimagined
